I love Skultuna and ended up purchasing the Pudel, but the service at the store was surprisingly unfriendly. The sales associate didn't greet us or smile when we entered. I approached her and said, “Hi there, I'd like to purchase the Pudel,” and received a blank stare followed by a rather curt “OK.” After I paid, there wasn't even a thank you. None of these things individually is a huge issue, but the overall demeanor made us feel genuinely unwelcome—to the point that I almost decided not to make the purchase. I’m glad I bought the Pudel because I love the piece, but for a premium Swedish brand, the in-store experience was disappointing.

The shop is great and staff was very friendly. I’m just disappointed with how the brand hides the origins of their products. After buying a brass figurine for a present, I was wondering was it actually produced in Sweden or EU. Spoiler: most probably non of the products are. But that info is not easy accessible for some reason. Skultuna mentions only that all products are designed, finished, polished and packed in the original factory. After spending some time with AI and looking at publicly available data about companies and imports to Sweden, it seems that brass pieces are imported from India, and gold plated stein-less steel jewellery is imported form China. Then probably finished, polished and packed in Sweden. Do I feel cheated? NO, I kind of expected this. I just feel disappointed that a company with this kind of heritage can’t be confident enough to be transparent about their supply chain.

We have purchased several decoration pieces and jewelry from this store over the years. About 8 months ago I purchased a men's blue leather bracelet. A month ago, the polished magnetic stainless steel piece that closes the bracelet started to loose it polish where it was in contact with my skin, a few weeks later it turned red as if a coating applied to it rubbed off. Taking advantage of a short trip to Stockholm I stopped by the store to ask if they knew the cause but the salesperson immediately rushed to find a replacement of the same size and promptly offered a free replacement. She didn't question anything and although I wasn't expecting this since I didn't have an original purchase receipt or knowledge if their replacement policy I was VERY pleasantly surprised of how they stand by the quality of their products! Thank you!
