The place is quite difficult to reach, there isn't any sign to be found along the way that shows you the way toward the natural reserve. If you want to come here by car you should drive on the road 57 (from either Gnesta or Mölnbo) and turn north into Harry Martinson vägen or into Visbohammarsvägen. Later you want to drive along Simondalsvägen and then turn left into Nybyggarvägen. At the end of Nybyggarvägen you will find that the road ends by a place where the sign "Monikander" hangs. You can park your car somewhere along the road, but don't leave it where it could bother the locals. In the Reserve there aren't signs of any kind. A good way to visit it is to pick up a path and try your best to stay on it, noticing elements in the landscape that will help you make your way back to your car. The overall atmosphere of the reserve is very quiet and peaceful, a typical Swedish landscape. The forest feels quite wild and the absence of signs makes you feel like you are further away from civilisation than you actually are. The owner of the reserve might consider working to better and upgrade the paths and signs. I don't recommend the reserve to those who get lost easily.
