Short version: Amazing People. Outstanding Service. THANK YOU. Longer version: I rented a car from Sixt in Malmö, with plans to return it to Sixt at Stockholm Airport. While driving through Småland, being a US driver unfamiliar with the pumps, I accidentally picked up the left-most pump handle and filled our regular gasoline car with E85 ethanol—which is not a good thing to do if you want the engine to keep working. It was Friday at 6:30 p.m., and we were stuck at a gas station in the middle of the countryside. I called the Sixt office in Malmö, where I had rented the car, and they told me I needed to contact the closest Sixt location, which was in Kalmar. I spoke with David at Sixt Kalmar and explained that I had my family with me and told him about our situation. Their office was closing in just 30 minutes. He explained that normally the Kalmar location would not be able to change our return location to Stockholm Airport, but he made an exception for us. He found us a large replacement car and even left it outside the rental office, so that when the tow truck brought us back, we would have a new car waiting and could continue our drive to our destination. That human touch, the understanding of what it means to be traveling with your family and suddenly find yourself stranded, was worth more than anything. On a Friday evening :) I want to thank everyone at Sixt, and especially David from Kalmar office, for going **above and beyond** to help us. Thank you, guys!

These guys cancelled my fully paid booking 1 hour before my arrival. I was on a business trip and travelled from The Netherlands and ended up lost in Kalmar looking for an alternative because they decided they want to cancel my booking for no reason at all. WHILE IT WAS FULLY PAID!!!! NEVER SIXT AGAIN!
