Victor is a great driving instructor and helped me a lot with passing my driving licence. Even though I already knew how to drive from my home country, Victor focused strongly on teaching me the correct driving techniques required for the Swedish driving test. He put a lot of effort into identifying and correcting my habits and making sure I understood not only how to drive the car, but how to drive properly according to the test requirements. We went through practically all the important areas from the driving book and practised them in real traffic. I took around 15–17 lessons with him and was able to pass my driving test on my second attempt. One thing I learned is that the driving test is not only about being able to move and control the car. Understanding the correct techniques, observations, positioning, planning and traffic rules is extremely important. Victor also regularly revised the important rules with me while we were driving. Some traffic rules can be difficult to fully understand just by reading about them, so practising them in real situations with an instructor makes a big difference. I would definitely recommend Victor to anyone preparing for their Swedish driving licence, especially if you already have driving experience from another country but need to adapt your driving to Swedish rules and test standards.
