Salthamn är en plats längs den gotländska kusten, norr om Visby, där du kan njuta av en hållbar semester i våra charmiga hus. Här serverar vi mat från våra egna trädgårdar och ängar. En perfekt plats för avkoppling med restaurang, café, sandstrand och evenemang. Nära till färjor och flygplatser.

Det var en speciell kväll. Man fick först flera vegetariska rätter och sen blev det smakrika lammkorv och grillat på öppenspis lamm. Oerhört mycket smak på allt. Rekommenderas!

Nice basil and elderflower cocktails and a really cool venue, but unfortunately we were very underwhelmed by the food. We ordered two pizzas which were surprisingly flavourless, the dough felt underdone, and the salami tasted overly processed. Overall, the food just felt a little careless and unloved. Considering we spent 700+ SEK on two small pizzas and two cocktails, it felt very overpriced for the quality of the food. We’d have loved for the venue, cocktails and service to make up for the disappointing meal, but unfortunately the staff weren’t particularly warm or friendly either. They also didn’t seem especially knowledgeable - we received two “I don’t knows” in response to fairly basic questions about the restaurant. It’s a shame because the venue has a lot going for it, but the overall experience didn’t live up to the price and unfortunately was the only disappointing experience we had on the charming island of Gotland.

We’re particularly sorry that we didn’t have the opportunity to address your concerns about the pizzas during your visit. Had we known at the time that you weren’t happy with them, our team would have been glad to look into it and do our best to improve your experience there and then. We also take your comments regarding the service and staff knowledge seriously and will discuss them with the team. As for our pricing, it reflects the ingredients, preparation and the costs of operating in this location, although we completely understand that everyone has their own expectations when it comes to value. We’re disappointed that your experience didn’t live up to your expectations, but we appreciate your feedback and hope you otherwise had a wonderful time on Gotland.
