She makes nice cakes but pretty much of a racist. Her attitude towards me changed the moment she realized that I was a person of colour,on the pick up Day. Definitely not what she had expected. If you’re black just know that this is not the place . I didn’t feel welcome and even my thank you note was never acknowledged let alone the excuses that followed after I made other orders after that. Clearly didn’t want to make cakes for people of my color.

Hi, First I wish you would have talk to me about this at the relevant time in August -22 and not on here 9 months later. I can assure you I am not a racist! The father of my daughter are afro American and that makes my daughter half white and half of colour! As I can see from your mail conversation with me you have written a lot of mails before the acuall cake pick up, I have tried to answer as much and as quick as I can but with limited time there is only so much I can do. By the time of your next order I was in the middle of closing down my shop. Since and after the pandemic I was working double to keep the shop going. One full time job and full time my cake business. Meaning both days and nights and it wore me out totally. I am sorry that you felt you didn’t get the pick up feeling you wanted. I was trying to stay on top but obviously there is a limit of what you are capable to do. That’s why I made the choice of closing down. Sincerely, Sara
