Went there for lunch. First of all, it was dirty as heck and the food’s not very good. Then, we got the buffet formula, I made myself ONE small plate, but halfway through I started feeling really sick. I explained to the lady that I’m pregnant and not feeling the best and asked if I could take my ONE plate I had made take away. She refused; claiming that takeaway is not allowed for the buffet. Makes perfect sense but the place was empty and I literally only took that ONE tiny plate. I never even got back up and she knew it. So although the rule makes sense, I feel like in this specific case she could’ve adapted, she knew we just got there and that it was my only plate, you cant expect people to pay for nothing at all. When I tried to explain this, she had the audacity to give me a racist remark (“that’s how it works in SWEDEN for your information”, she said). I’m European, I just happen to not speak swedish because I’m here on VACATION. I don’t think racist remarks are EVER acceptable in a work environnement, and even less when they come from someone who isn’t even Swedish. Don’t go there, save your money it’s not worth it and an embarrassement to Sweden that they treat people like this and claim it’s the “Swedish way”.
