Cozy, cute little place where you can go for self date and enjoy the good food and drinks, highly recommend the gröt.

Cute place with great food. Cinnamon bun porridge was such a huge portion I could only eat half. The house made chai latte was delicious. Quite busy but only had to wait 5 minutes at 10am on a Sunday. My only complaint is the banana bread with peanut butter. It was very wet/raw inside and did not have a bread-like consistency at all. I gave the place 4 stars for service because there really isn’t much service. You order at the counter and, yes, someone brings you your food, but no one checks up on you or anything like that and if you want water, you have to go get it yourself in the corner at the water station.

The food is quite nice, unfortunately is always quite crowded and long waiting times for a table. Positive for the business itself, but a bit too crowded

Good cold Swedish morning, my lovely folks!🇸🇪☕️ Our second proper food stop in Stockholm happened surprisingly early in the morning. After yesterday’s adventures, we were absolutely exhausted so went to sleep embarrassingly early, which resulted in breakfast at around 9 am.. And I have to say! our accidental early start worked perfectly in our favour! When we arrived, the café was still relatively peaceful, but by the time we were leaving, it had filled up considerably. So perhaps Stockholm really does reward early birds 🐥 From a tourist’s perspective, this place felt really (how I imagine in my head) Scandinavian in the sweetest possible way. Wooden floors, wooden tables, and people sitting around in knitted sweaters… felt like a mountain cabin in woods and mountains.. everything felt warm and super comforting.. 🫎 For breakfast I went for the 100% Eggs on Toast - soft scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, cress and half an avocado. It normally comes with pickled red chilli, but I asked to remove it. My boyfriend chose the Soft Scrambled “Italian Eggs” on focaccia with burrata, hot sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, basil and walnuts. And of course… two americanos ☕️☕️ Let’s start with my boyfriend’s breakfast. The combination itself was lovely. The bread was delicious, the burrata super creamy and nice.. but.. there was just one rather strange problem… The eggs were cold in the middle. Not slightly less warm - actually cold! We wondered whether they had perhaps been prepared earlier or reheated somehow, because it was quite unexpected considering everything else on the plate tasted fresh.. 7/10 My dish.. Dear readers.. I am genuinely proud to say.. on that plate there were the best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten in my life! The texture was soft fluffy, but what completely transformed them was the cheddar, I’ve never tried that good of a cheddar, I guess it’s just their organic fresh Swedish cheese that I would never find in London.. It added such rich, savoury depth without making the eggs feel heavy. I genuinely didn’t expect such a simple plate of eggs on toast to impress me this much! 💔 Even the avocado was absolutely perfect — beautifully ripe and creamy... And you know I don’t hand these out easily, but… 10/10. No hesitation. The Americanos - also wonderful! The café eventually became completely packed, there were only two people handling everything, and not only did they manage the whole place by taking orders at the counter, bringing dishes out, clearing tables and so on, but they still had time to smile, be attentive and kind to everyone😇 So apart from the mysterious cold centre of my boyfriend’s scramble, this breakfast was such a beautiful little Stockholm morning. lovely coffee, sweet service and, apparently, the best eggs in my life.. A dangerous standard to set on day two of the trip… 🇸🇪☕️🥚
