Superb. We had a brilliant time. The tour was really relaxed and Lawrence gave us a great insight into life in the city of Gothenburg as well as its history. You don’t need to be an experienced kayaker but some competence is helpful! I’d definitely recommend it

Great trip with Lawrence that gives a unique view of the city from the water - I went with my friend Angela and we both really enjoyed it . Trip takes over 2 hours and involves kayaking over sea and through the canals - but good instruction so suitable for beginners.

Thanks to the amazing Lawrence I, as a total beginner, not only survived my very first kayaking tour but had loads of fun together with my daughter. We learned quite a lot about Göteborg with a good dose of personal recommendations. Highly recommendable sightseeing tour of thr special kind.

"Tusen tack Lawrence för en fantastisk kajaktur Downtream Säveån! Väldigt trevligt, engagerat och professionellt bemötande, bra information och tips på saker att hålla utkik efter som kungsfiskare och bävrar. Bra utrustning med stabila kajaker. Generöst med paddlingstid, lätt att boka via hemsida och att kommunicera vid frågor. Vi fick uppleva härlig natur, spännande paddling, både i Säveån, förbi Gamlestan, Drömmarnas kaj och Göteborgs hamn, kul att se staden från ett annat perspektiv. En riktigt fin upplevelse från början till slut. Kan varmt rekommendera!"

This is such a good experience. Lawrence the owner/guide is lovely and very professional and instantly puts you at ease in the kayak even if you have little or no experience. I was travelling alone and this was a really good, fun, relaxed way to sightsee in Göteborg

Kayak fantastico! Prima volta sul kayak, giro entusiasmante. Lawrence simpatico, professionale e preparato nello spiegare la storia della città di Göteborg. Ti mette subito a tuo agio, e ti fa capire che andare in kayak non è uno sforzo, ma un’attività piacevole e anche culturale! Bello il canale portuale, ma anche i piccoli canali interni e nel centro cittadino, poco trafficati e con acqua calma. Speriamo di rivederci!!

Easy to find, handy bag storage and toilets. Lawrence is very friendly, gave us a clear safety briefing before we started and advised us about less than ideal weather conditions. He offered a refund due to conditions but all of the group chose to continue. Despite challenging winds and torrential rainstorms he led us safely on an interesting tour around the main canal, but wind and rain made it difficult to hear his comments. We survived unscathed and suitably drenched, with a good adventure story to tell.
