I really enjoyed the 6-week wheel throwing course and learned a lot! Pien is super kind and it was such a great atmosphere. I really appreciated that the course was held in English which made it very international-friendly!

I did the 6 week wheel throwing course and really enjoyed it, I was sad for it to end! Pien is a great teacher, I came away really happy with what I’d learned during the course and excitement for a new hobby. The studio is beautiful and it’s a really welcoming environment to be in and learn something new.

Supermysigt ställe! Jag gick en kurs i drejning som Rakel höll i och är jättenöjd.

I joined the one-time weekend workshop. It was a great taster event to cover both the wheel throwing and the hand building aspects of pottery. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it was a great activity to unwind, learn new skills and let the creativity flow. Pien was patient, encouraging and helpful. The centrally located studio is well lit and spacious. Pien has created the space to be a homely and comfortable environment for social and artistic expression. I will continue this pottery journey with the wheel-throwing course.

I took both a one-time handbuilding workshop and a six week throwing course, both of which I recommend! I came out of the course with many wonderful pieces. Pien taught us how to make basic items like bowls and mugs, and she was super helpful and supportive when I wanted to make stuff that was a little different. Like adding a little figure to my opossum mug, cat ears to my yarn bowl, and paws to my bowl. I had such a blast and definitely want to take another course in the future.

I did a wheel throwing course in January and February and was hooked on pottery right from the beginning. Since then, I've been a member of the Open Studio and am just loving every second of it. Pien has had a huge part in this. Her love for pottery, teaching, connecting and her creativity are just contagious. You can feel it as soon as you step into her spacious and bright studio. She makes sure everyone feels welcome, seen and heard. I'm looking forward to many more pottery sessions and can recommend Pien to anyone who wants to try pottery! :)
