I am on my travels and purchased a triolet before I arrived but unfortunately the goretex didn’t work and it wet through immediately. I brought it into the store and within 10 minutes I had left with a new one. I showed a video of it wet through along with my receipt and that’s all I needed. The customer service was excellent and all the staff were lovely. The store was well stocked with everything you could need also!

I visited the store last week to ask ifmy favorite sweater could be fixed in the store. I spoke with someone there and they were really friendly. They explained that this is not a 'quick fix' but on Wednesday the tailor would be coming into the store and he could open up the sleeve, add some new fabric and close it again. So I agreed to leave the pullover there for the repair. Wednesday evening I picked up the sweater. Now there is a plastic piece attached to the sleeve. It is attached with some sort of glue that you can't get it off anymore. The problem is that the matirial is not a match. It's an ultra light fleece sweater and the attached patch is basically a piece of plastic. Because of it being right on the edge of the sleeve, you basically feel the plastic patch all the time. I was pretty disappointed and it feels like my favorite sweater has lost value after the repair. I fdont like that the people in the store told me how they would fix it and did something else instead, what is applied now actually doesn't fit the product. I guess those plastic patches are fantastic to fix a tent, or rainjacket. But on my fleece it's not a match.

Hi Rosch Esther. We're sorry to hear that the repair did not meet your expectations. Our goal with repairs is to prioritise function over aesthetics. On this occasion the technician decided that stitching the garment would have been more noticeable and potentially uncomfortable so a patch was created from the correct garment. The plastic feel you are describing is coming from the glue. We place a strong emphasis on setting expectations, communicating clearly throughout the repair process, and involving customers in decisions when possible. While the repair was handled appropriately from a technical standpoint, the communication around the final solution could have been better.
