A very disappointing experience and terrible customer service. The day before our visit, I tried to make a reservation and spent around 10 minutes on the phone with a woman who seemed unable to help or organize anything. Every suggestion I made was somehow a problem. Apparently, I could make a reservation for 8:15 PM, but 8:30 PM was suddenly not possible. The entire conversation was unnecessarily complicated and left a very bad first impression. Unfortunately, today’s experience was even worse. When we arrived, a waitress let us in but then completely ignored us and attended to other guests as if we weren’t even there. We eventually started looking for a table ourselves and finally approached the bar, where a staff member told us there were no tables available. I asked if we could wait for a table, but he told us there wouldn’t be any available anyway. The problem was not that the restaurant was full. The problem was how we were treated. I completely understand that a restaurant can be busy and that tables are not always available. However, basic respect, communication, and customer service should be the bare minimum. All they had to do was approach us, explain the situation, and speak to us politely instead of ignoring us and leaving us to find someone who would actually give us an answer. After this experience, I definitely have no desire to return. Both the phone call and the visit itself were extremely disappointing. A restaurant should care not only about table availability but also about how it treats its guests.
