Don't be fooled if it says "closed" – the shop with self service is open year-round from 11 - 5! 🧀✨ We had a wonderful stay at Osterian af Jemtland through our Nortrip reservation and cannot recommend this place enough! The hospitality here is top-notch. Ingela is incredibly kind and welcoming. She took her time to show us around, explain how everything works, and tell us about her passion. She runs her own cheesery and we were even treated to a delicious cheese tasting right upon our arrival! Even though the main restaurant was already closed for the season (as it only operates during the summer), she still provided us with an amazing breakfast the next morning. It was packed with local delicacies: blueberry juice, cloudberries, muesli, a perfectly cooked omelet, and, of course, her amazing cheese. The facilities are great too, offering everything a traveler needs: Electricity Clean toilet Hot shower We left completely satisfied and happy. ❤️ If you are traveling through the area, stop here and take a look at this place! A true hidden gem with the friendliest host.

I cannot recommend this place enough!!! The cheese course was so fun and informative, the vibes are emaculate, the owner was so friendly & funny, and flowed seamlessly from Swedish to English. We did the cheese course which I would 100% do again and sat and had dinner at the restaurant and wow wow wow the food was amazing 🥳

Varit här på ostkurs i mejeriet och ätit på den fantastiska restaurangen. Allt var tipp topp, så trevlig stämning, kul och lärorik kurs och riktigt god mat. Rekommenderar chokladmousse med brunost lite extra 👌
