Very basic. Wouldn’t recommend. Common spaces were well arranged but the bathroom is broken; there are no mirrors by the washbasin and It feels like a makeshift in there.

Stayed there 2 nights. First and foremost, it came as a negative surprise that there was no en-suite toilet or shower. I can see now that this is mentioned under the individual room types, but it simply isn’t made clear when you’re booking. And we were by no means the only ones who were negatively surprised by this. What’s more, you have to put the bed linen on yourself! And they even charge extra for that. The breakfast was a disappointment. There was no more milk on Sunday morning at 8.30 am. Nor was there any more ordinary bread. The coffee hadn’t been brewed; we guests had to do that ourselves. The rooms are OK and spacious, but many things are worn, including the curtains. The location and the car park are the highlights. It should also be noted that this isn’t a cheap place to stay, so overall it fell well short of expectations and we cannot in good conscience recommend it to other travellers.

Als spontaner Stopp in Göteborg sehr gut. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld ist leider schwierig, das Zimmer ziemlich eng. Dafür macht das 24/7 Frühstück und Eis vieles wieder gut, genauso wie die vielen liebevollen Details in der Einrichtung. Die Lage nahe am Stadtzentrum ist super. Busse, Tram, Zentrum, alles vor der Haustür. Und es ist sauber.

Vid bokningstillfället framgick det inte tydligt att boendet i praktiken var ett vandrarhem, med delad dusch och toalett, snarare än ett hotell. Med tanke på prisnivån, cirka 1 500 kr per natt, utgick jag från att jag bokade ett hotellrum med sedvanlig hotellstandard. Det borde ha framgått tydligt i bokningssystemet att boendet hade vandrarhemskaraktär och att sanitära utrymmen delades med andra gäster. Reklamationen gäller också bristfällig service vid ankomst. Receptionen var obemannad, och det fanns inte någon fungerande möjlighet att nå personal via jourtelefon för att få hjälp eller ytterligare information. När jag anlände fick jag i stället be andra gäster/grannar om information, vilket inte är acceptabelt vid en hotellbokning. Därtill var värmen i rummet avstängd under natten, vilket gjorde rummet mycket kallt och ledde till att jag inte kunde sova. Detta påverkade mig negativt, särskilt eftersom vistelsen var kopplad till mitt deltagande i en konferens. På morgonen tog jag upp dessa problem med personen i receptionen. Jag förklarade att jag hade saknat information vid ankomst, att rummet varit mycket kallt under natten och att jag inte hade kunnat nå någon ansvarig utan endast fått ett automatiskt svar. Bemötandet jag fick upplevdes som defensivt och avvisande. Personen svarade inte tydligt på mina frågor och vände sig bort i stället för att försöka klargöra situationen. Jag upplevde detta som mycket obehagligt och stressande. På grund av dessa brister valde jag att boka ett annat hotell för den andra natten.

1/10 – One of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had We booked OW, by A&J - Familj & Bilen & Hunden - Liseberg & Avenyn! through Booking.com believing we were reserving rooms in a hotel. In reality, this place operates more like a hostel and the photos and description online are highly misleading compared to the actual conditions. Before arrival it was impossible to contact the property. We tried calling, messaging through Booking, and sending emails but received no response. We arrived in Gothenburg with our family and a 5‑year‑old child and were immediately shocked. One of the rooms we booked clearly stated that it included a private bathroom, but when we arrived we were told there was no bathroom in the room and that it was “a Booking mistake”. Trying to resolve the situation with the staff was extremely uncomfortable. I remained calm and polite, simply trying to understand what happened and find a solution. However, the staff showed no willingness to help, avoided communication, and even closed doors in front of me while I was speaking. After a long discussion they finally offered another room (with a toilet but no bathroom) and said we would not need to pay extra. When we entered the room, the condition was honestly shocking: the room was dirty, with shoe marks all over the floor the bedding had hair and an unpleasant smell the toilet door did not close properly the toilet seat was broken there was a strong bad smell coming from the bathroom part of the room was being used as staff storage for equipment furniture was old, worn out and in poor condition the windows could not be opened for ventilation We stayed there for only one night because we were exhausted after a long trip and had no realistic alternative late in the evening. The most concerning part happened afterwards. Even though I paid for everything on-site, a few days later 1575 SEK was charged from my card without any explanation or communication. Because of this situation I have already contacted the support team at Booking.com and requested clarification regarding the additional charge. Until this issue is properly resolved, I feel it is important to share this experience so other travelers can make an informed decision before booking this property. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would strongly advise travelers — especially families with children — to be very cautious when considering this place.

A big apartment turned into a Well maintained and quite space. Not too luxurious but 24 x 7 available breakfast (I recommend the owner to have checked and updated the availability ). Gaming console and big TV in room. The space is stuffed with funny stuffs. Lots of games. Wi-Fi was slow

Göteborgs bästa b&b!! Bra läge, välfungerande självservice (frukost 24/7, bara en sån sak!), fina rum, superhärlig atmosfär och hemtrevlig lounge där man gärna hänger. Perfekt för såväl barnfamiljen som kompisgänget som ensamresenären. Vi kommer definitivt återkomma som gäster. Rekommenderas!
