A hidden gem in old town. We ordered Borsch, Pelmeni, Beef & Mushroom Pancake, and honey walnut cake (Medovik) as dessert. Everything is delicious. The Borsch is generous in ingredients, very rich flavour.

Зашли совершенно случайно и были приятно удивлены, самый вкусный борщ в моей жизни! Маленькая дочка съела всю порцию и на весь вечер было обеспечено очень веселое настроение! Спасибо!

Not the experience I was hoping for after adding it to my list of places to try. Very rude waitress after I’d said I didn’t like a dish I ordered and had hardly touched she threatened to phone police because I didn’t want to pay for something I didn’t like and had hardly touched! She was very dramatic about the condition of the dish in which my friends also stated I’d hardly touched it but she insisted I’d clearly used the cutlery and touched it so I should pay (cut a slice of a meatball and attempted to try the mash then decided I wasn’t going to eat it) She has no customer service skills or general mannerisms asking if it’s because I had no money and that’s why I didn’t want to pay, so rude!
