Ordered a part for my Artemide Tolomeo lamp in January and still have not received it. Multiple calls with customer service confirming the order has gone through and promises that it will be delivered and that I will receive updates on the process. Unfortunately have not received anything to this day (August). This lack of service seems to be in line with other reviews poster here.

Warning to EU buyers: Nordiska Galleriet refuses to honor the legal Right of Withdrawal. I am writing this review to warn international EU customers about purchasing from Nordiska Galleriet. While their website and catalog appear premium, their customer service actively violates European consumer protection laws when it comes to returns. I ordered a modular sofa consisting entirely of standardized, pre-set catalog components (standard modules, standard fabric, and standard colors). Because I bought the item online from the Netherlands and was unable to test it in person, I decided to exercise my legal right of withdrawal within the statutory 14-day cooling-off period. Nordiska Galleriet’s customer service refuses to accept the return, falsely claiming that because the sofa is "made-to-order", it qualifies as a "customized/personalized" item and is therefore exempt from the right of withdrawal. This position is legally invalid. Under Section 5.11.2 of the European Commission's Guidance on the Consumer Rights Directive, standard mass-produced items or furniture assembled from pre-set catalog options do not become "customized" simply because they are manufactured upon request. The legal exemption applies strictly to unique, individual specifications. Furthermore, their own internal return portal disassembles the order into individual pieces with standard article codes, proving these are standard interchangeable catalog components. Because the management refuses to acknowledge EU legislation, this matter has now been officially escalated. A formal dispute has been successfully filed and is currently being processed by the European Consumer Centre (ECC) in Sweden. If cross-border mediation fails, the case will immediately be pushed forward to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). If you are an EU consumer, be aware that Nordiska Galleriet will try to bend the law to deny your right to a return. I highly recommend taking your business to a retailer that actually respects European consumer rights.
