Seger was a stop on the Stockholm Food Tour. ​They delivered a perfect pairing of hearty comfort food and a delicate coastal appetizer, showcasing the best of traditional Swedish cuisine. The Appetizer: Toast Skagen served on a small cracker. The traditional Swedish shrimp mix was rich and creamy, featuring small, sweet shrimp bound in a light, slightly tangy dressing with flecks of herbs and crowned with a sprig of fresh dill. The dill's bright, anise-like flavor lifted the richness of the creamy sauce. Served on a small rye cracker (or tunnbröd), the appetizer provided a nice contrast in texture to the soft, creamy topping. It was a fresh, elegant, and light bite. ​The Main Event: Classic Swedish Meatballs ​The presentation of the Swedish Meatballs was classic and inviting. The meatballs themselves were sizeable, boasting a robust, savory flavor and a tender texture. Stopped in for lunch....cute restaurant inside Ostermalms Food Hall. Had the Swedish meatballs with mash potatoes....delicious!

Just simple Swedish husmanskost—like meatballs with creamy sauce, mashed potatoes, lingonberries, and cucumber salad, or a Toast Skagen. It’s a great spot for a quick, reasonably priced lunch. The beautiful östermalms Saluhall setting definitely adds to the experience.

Good steak, nice location inside the market. We ordered a Sirloin and the meat was tender, and cooked perfectly. The Meatballs dish had good accompaniments but the meatballs flavor was just ok. Nice unfiltered Swedish lager. Prices are probably a bit higher than other similar places. The market has a good vibe and the dining experience feels authentic. I recommend to visit this market if you happen to be Stockholm.
