Beneath the poetic façade lies engineering excellence: a 15,000 m³ concrete tank, robust enough to ensure Örebro’s water supply until at least 2050—doubling the capacity of the beloved Svampen. The steel “basket” of 48 corten pillars not only protects the reservoir but also filters the wind and lets light dance through its mesh. It allows Lyra to appear both grounded and ethereal. The sight of the Jesus fish appearing when I stand east of the reservoir fills me with a profound sense of joy and holiness. It awakens something deeply spiritual within me and makes me feel truly blessed.

If you look closely at the top of this magnificent monument toward all that is holy in this world, in the correct sunlight you can see an image of a fish. Something inside me told me to make a wish. Turns out my wish came true an hour later. I can recommend everyone to make visit, try and spot out the fish and all your dreams may come true.

Went here after reading some other reviews, honestly not expecting much. At first glance it felt more like an interesting building, but nothing particularly note-worthy. Just... there. However, I don’t know if it was the sun hitting it at the perfect angle or some kind of divine prank, but suddenly our eyes were blessed with rainbow-shimmering lights—and even colors I didn’t know existed. It only lasted a few moments, but in that time it felt like a whole lifetime had passed. We walked out with watery eyes and hearts forever changed.
