This is a neighborhood Thai massage place that feels a lot less shady and comfortable than many others in Stockholm. The atmosphere is professional, and if you’re simply looking for a purely therapeutic massage, that’s handled respectfully and without any awkwardness, yet I’m sure the give extra services if men request it. It’s usually a drop-in place, but I was able to book ahead of time, which I appreciated. The price is 600 kr per hour, which in practice means about 50 minutes of massage, with a few minutes before and after to get ready and redress. My therapist was a lovely woman named Som (though her certificate had a different name possibly her formal name). She was very attentive and genuinely listened to what my body needed. I asked her to focus more on my shoulders and to revisit certain areas where I felt extra tension, and she immediately adjusted without hesitation. It felt customized rather than rushed, and overall I found the massage well worth it. Cleanliness was decent, towels and sheets smelled fresh but the aesthetics of the place aren’t great, which slightly takes away from the overall experience. Another downside is the beds: they aren’t proper massage tables, and there’s a pillow instead of a face hole or headrest, which was a bit uncomfortable at times. That said, the massage itself really helped decompress my neck. Because of the convenient location close to my home, the ability to book ahead, and the quality of the massage, I would definitely come back. As a small and unexpected gesture, Som gave me a banana at the end, which I found genuinely sweet and thoughtful.
