RapporteraA pharmacy must treat people as humans. It must not force electronic advertisement on people as they enjoy the public spaces. The ads are not more important than our right to enjoy the village in peace. Next we are going to pay an extra for an ad-free village. That's a dark side of capitalism, indeed Especially a pharmacy must respect people, since it is a primary service and a health service. We do not need to be imposed the advertisement. We will use the pharmacy. Nobody needs to be attracted there and all the content that is being shown can be civilizedly communicated by the employees as in a human to human interaction, not automatized. Which is what we need nowadays, especially in a small and picturesque town. Or even a normal board with papers attached. It is more accessible and natural to the mind. We do not have to prioritize tech as if taken for granted. It is not an improvement. It is a step backwards, actually. A step towards dystopia. We must choose with sense and gentleness Moreover, no one pays attention to the content, only the bright light and movement, because as we walk and enjoy, we do not want to see ads. It is inconvenient and inadequate. Therefore it only disturbs, pollutes visually, spends energy and is an extra expense for the business,. namely annoying and out-of-place marketing totalitarianism Also it interferes in our minds and disrupts because it is intrusive, interferes in the enjoyment, the flow of thoughts and attention to normal things, actions and obligations, even if subtly, the attention to our children, grocery list, day plans etc And it imposes a mode of thought over our own natural mode of thought, aesthetically and ideologically. It imposes media mode and lato sensu commercial mode It is an imposed exploitation of our senses It also turns the pharmacy into something rather cold and inhuman. It stands psychologically and sensorially between us and the pharmacy, giving it a corporative aspect, because it is electronic and impersonal. And the content is too corporative, ad-ish and non authentic. It comes from a de facto marketing machine, not actual people in the sense of human scale and immediacy. This is intrinsic to the medium. It's all highly technically produced and has no authenticity, because it has to go through the electronic media mechanism It is not like something someone draws or writes, or even a picture one takes and a paper sign one makes. Or something one says. Those we can connect to as real We must be now over the inconsequential idolatry of tech. As if we were not losing anything. We are losing a lot. And getting nothing but pollution and impersonality With this intrusive automatization and industrialization of interaction in our everyday lives come deep consequences, psychological, social, environmental etc. Our references are corrupted It is not decorative either. It is pollution It interferes when we sit to eat at the grocery. Instead of a picturesque scenery there is this bright intrusive advertisement screen. And it does not pay us anything for interfering. It misuses the shop façade to impose images and content. A façade and a shop window are not advertisement panels. They do not have this right just because they own the glass. They do not own our minds. And as the sight is used, the mind is used. It's cognition According to this absurdity, perhaps people are advertisement panels too. The asphalt. The sky Life is not a casino. Life is life. The village is not a website or a TV. The village is a village. And we are not automaton consummerist numbers on a marketing-business chart. We are humans We are humans
