Kin Long er med længder den bedste kinesiske restaurant jeg har spist på i Skandinavien! At alle retter stort set kan laves vegetariske er et kæmpe plus. Sødt personale, god stemning og vanvittigt lækker og veltilberedt mad. Bravo!

A cozy restaurant with great vibes, but poor value for money The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere, with beautiful Chinese-inspired decor. The staff were friendly and did a good job presenting the courses, and the alcoholic drink pairing complemented the five courses well. Unfortunately, despite these positive aspects, I can only give the restaurant two stars for several reasons. The main issue was the value for money. We were four people sharing the dishes shown in the photos, and the portions were simply too small for the price. Photo 2 and 3 was served with rice, while photo 4 shows the Peking duck served with wraps. You might argue that we could simply have eaten more rice, but there was not enough sauce or vegetables to go with it. Overall, the meal felt incomplete and insufficient. If the meal had cost SEK 400–450 instead of SEK 650, I would probably have given the restaurant three stars (four if the drinks were larger). Compared with other restaurants we tried in Malmö, this place was simply too expensive for the amount and quality of food we received. The Peking duck served with the wraps was also disappointingly dry. We have had Peking duck at other restaurants in Denmark that was much juicier and less expensive. CONG CONG in Stockholm is similarly priced, but the food there was significantly better. For the price, I also expected a more sophisticated presentation of the dishes and a greater amount and variety of vegetables. The drinks were another disappointment in terms of price. The alcoholic drink pairing worked well with the five courses, and the drinks themselves were good. However, at SEK 495, it was far too expensive, especially considering how small the servings were. These were more like mini glasses than regular wine glasses. Which makes the regular price of SEK 695 for this pairing, absolutely extortionate. There were also some issues with the tableware and overall organization. Almost everything was served in deep bowls, and we used the same chopsticks throughout the first four courses. It was only when dessert arrived that we received spoons—and even then, we were given only three for four people and had to ask for the missing one. The overall impression was that the restaurant was cutting costs on crockery and cutlery, while the prices suggested a much more refined dining experience. There seemed to be a lack of organization and attention to detail. In conclusion, this is a restaurant where you pay for the atmosphere rather than the food. The cozy setting and friendly staff are definite positives, but they do not make up for the small portions, disappointing value for money, overpriced drinks, and lack of attention to detail. The fact they require 300 sek in deposit per person, when the experience isn’t thereafter, is insane. I would only understand it, if this was a five star experience. I would recommend this place to people who simply do not care about the price. If you are looking for a genuinely satisfying meal, however, there are better options in Malmö. Come for the vibes, not the food.

The atmosphere was so warm and cosy everything was perfect designed and the food was perfect authentic tasteful and light and the drinks 🍸♥️ And the staff were so kind and considerate Perfect just perfect 😍 👌🏼
