Easy booking process, good prices and really nice owner who not only helped us with setting up the kayaks, but also gave us an extra 2 hours on top of our booking so that it would be possible to finish the route she recommended. Overall unbelievable experience, would do it again anytime.

This is the best way to explore Karlskrona - enjoying the beauty of the city from the water! Very central location and easy to get into kayaks from a nice dock. The highlight of our vacation!

Kayakomaten ligger lättillgänglig nära Stumholmen och nära till parkering av bilen. Därifrån tar du dig lätt ut på fina turer, både långa och korta. Turen mellan Saltö och Dragsö bjuder på varierad paddling med möjlighet för ett stopp för en glass 🍦🍓 Kajakerna är stabila så att vara nybörjare är inget problem. Paddla och njut.

Have yourself a mini adventure kayaking in the beautiful archipelago of Karlskrona, a significant port city (and a UNESCO World Heritage site) in the Baltic Sea. A wonderful experience one won’t regret:)

Fantastisk tjänst på oslagbar plats. Lätt att bära ner kajaken till bryggan och stiga i även om man är lite till åren och inte så smidig. Sedan är man direkt ute i skärgården! Närmaste öarna är inte mer än 15 minuters paddling bort. Vi paddlade till Koholmen som just nu är en byggarbetsplats men blir desto finare när portarna slår upp för ett nyrenoverat café i sommar 😍🍦☕️

Such a fun way to explore the area by water! Recommend for visitors staying downtown. Easy booking, and the owner was responsive to questions by email, even late the night before. Retrieving and returning the kayaks through the smart lock system was simple. Both the single and double person kayaks require two people to transport down to the water, which is a short staircase away. If only one person, you may need to ask a passerby to help. (Or drag the kayaks down the stairs, which we saw that others did, which scratches the bottom of the kayaks). The kayaks are rudderless. The paddle is easy to assemble, with adjustable paddle angles, but the length is not adjustable. Comes with a personal floatation device, bucket for bailing, sponge for soaking up water from cockpit, and waterproof skirt to go over cockpit. Prices are slightly higher than at other locations around the Karlskrona archipelago, but it seems to be the only one in the downtown Trossö area. If you sign up for the newsletter on the website (and select your base as the country where the Kayakomat is located, you can get a 10% discount through the welcome email). Minimum rental is for 2 hours, and the price per hour goes down the more time you rent. Also open 24/7, in case there are paddlers interested in a midnight excursion. Suggestions: - Install a system to help transport kayaks from locker down to water - have adjustable paddle lengths A great experience and would try again!
