Siamo stati da Kärran durante la nostra visita a Brännö e ci siamo trovati davvero bene. Posto accogliente, atmosfera rilassata, personale gentile e cibo molto buono (abbiamo preso il bowl coi gamberi). Un locale autentico e piacevole, dove tornerei volentieri. Consigliato!

I recommend Kärran for sure. I never expected to find such a cool "food truck" in a small island. I ate the Drunken Noodles, good taste! p.s. The owner is nice and cool too.

Maten var helt okej, beställde drunken noodles och bao. Alldeles för mycket sås på baon som overpowered allt annat. Och drunken nudlarna smakande bränt istället för smokey. Sedan tog det också en timme innan vi fick maten. Andra bord som beställt innan oss fick inte häller något på över 40 plus minuter.

Woke up quite hungover, which is not unusual for me in summer. The question I faced was whether to visit the Värdshus for a pick me up, or swing by Kärran for something salty and filling. I settled upon the latter, and can unequivocally say my decision making, despite my obvious impairment, was impeccable. I ate the majority of 3 dishes, the bao buns, the glass noodle sallad, and perhaps most appropriately, the Drunken noodles. Each dish was lovingly prepared from scratch by the proprietress, who was both charming and welcoming. The wait time was appropriate, given the number of guests and the manner in which the food was prepared. This of course gave me ample time to question my life choices, whereby I concluded that everything is fine and should continue exactly as before. With regards to the food, the bao buns were without doubt the best I’ve had in Gothenburg, and the dressing for the glass noodles was a divinely fresh, salty and acidic concoction that by itself has probably changed the prognosis for the day. Then of the course, the Drunken noodles provided me the starch and fortitude necessary to continue on my merry way. All of this was enjoyed in a shady spot in a pretty garden, with exquisite company. I should like to think that the experience would have been equally pleasant, if not superior, had I not been in such a state of disrepair.
