Joining the Private Golden Hour Photo Walk in Stockholm led by Julien Pröpper is one of the BEST decisions I have made for this trip. Julien is extremely talented. You cannot help but keep scrolling through his Instagram posts and stories. What is exceptional about him is that he knows very well how to present those concepts in a very simple and student-friendly way. The 3-hour sunset tour capturing glowing waterfront views, medieval church towers, and cobblestone streets included stops at Stockholm City Hall, Skeppsholmsbron, The Royal Palace, Stortorget, Riddarholmen Island and Monteliusvägen. I strongly encourage you to participate in his tour on the first or second day of your trip before exploring different attractions on your own. On top of introducing us to those hidden viewpoints, Julien offered my sister and me countless practical tips. Those tangible techniques, from how to frame a photo to how to compose it, are extremely useful. I am so surprised we can apply them immediately. Last but not least, we were extremely delighted to receive his helpful post-walk photography digital handout to reinforce the skills learned during the session. I unreservedly recommend this tour to all of you as long as you wish to sharpen your photography skills. I will certainly join his other tours when I visit Sweden and Norway.

Great experience at the Lofoten with Julien and a small group of passionated photographers. I really liked the fact that we were only 4. Julien knows where we need to go to make pictures. Too bad we can’t control the weather ! But how beautiful landscapes !! It was too short. I learned how to use different lenses and compose a landscape photography. Objectives achieved !!

Juliens tour was amazing. He booked a great location in Senja, a fully self contained house on the water, where we could view and photograph the northern lights but also took us to many daytime locations to photograph beautiful landscapes. He was very helpful with the technical aspects, best settings, how to understand and use histograms and editing. He provided information too on composition. I have travelled extensively over a 48 year period both on tours and independently, and would have to say this tour was second to none.

I had never used a professional camera or had any photography experience before to this trip. However, after this tour in Senja, I am incredibly comfortable using my camera! I learned so much about technical settings, composition, and how to edit landscape and Northern Lights photos with lightroom. Julien has a deep knowledge and is a very talented, passionate photographer. He is constantly looking for the best photo spots and is always the first one to take a photo to show how to compose the perfect shot. He generously shares his techniques, ideas, and the thought process behind a professional photograppher. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Scandinavian landscapes. It’s an amazing experience even if you aren't into photography, as Julien takes you to beautiful highlights of the area that would be very difficult to find on your own. I can't recommend Julien enough, he is a great photography teacher and a fantastic travel companion!

Julien organized and led an amazing photography tour of Swedish Lapland. We spent time exploring a frozen waterfall and frozen lake where we photographed beautiful icicles. We went snowmobiling, took a sky tram for an overview of an incredible snow-covered landscape and mountains. In the evening, we topped off our adventures by chasing the Northern Lights. I highly recommend joining one of Julien's photo adventures.

I had a truly wonderful photo tour in Lofoten, one of the most beautiful places in the world. Julien is extremely professional, always attentive, and ready to help the group, answering every question with patience and sharing his knowledge generously. I learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended!

Working with Julien was a super experience. Communication was always easy, he has so much knowledge to share and a very creative eye. The pictures and videos he took of our mirror cabins at FURU Norway are outstanding and I recommend working with him wholeheartedly.

I loved my photo adventure with Julian and cannot recommend it enough - not only is he such a kind and entertaining guy, but also he shared so many great tips about (drone) photography, landscape composition and good spots on the island we explored.
