I honestly don’t even know where to start… First of all, the event was advertised as free, but in reality you had to pay 95 SEK. Fine, whatever, I’ll take the hit… The place presents itself as somewhat alternative, but in reality it’s just full of posers who clearly do no introspection whatsoever and are as closed-minded as clams. I walk in and nobody is dancing, and the music was terrible. The beers were very expensive, but whatever, it’s Sweden, I’m not expecting too much. I go outside with my beer because I’m a woman and I’m scared someone might drug it, considering the numerous people visibly on drugs that I saw in that place. The security guard tells me I’m not even allowed to sit on the “terrace” with my beer and smoke. I apologize and explain that I don’t know the rules because I’m not from here, and I apologize to him multiple times. So I leave my beer on a bench and go smoke on the street, more than 15 meters away. Half an hour later, out of nowhere, a very skinny woman who was very obviously high on some kind of drug comes up to me and tells me that I’m no longer welcome at the venue because I held my beer in my hand on the street for one minute. LOL. I just look at her in complete shock because after basically GIVING YOU all that money for such a shitty night, I genuinely don’t even know what to say. But the best part comes when she tells me that, because of me, she was going to throw herself off a bridge and that once she died, she would haunt me and my family. She also claimed that she was going to get a fine because of me, pointing at a random car and saying that those were the police. It was literally just a normal car belonging to some random person. Nobody was coming, and nobody was going to get fined because I held a beer outside the bar for 30 seconds. What I find both hilarious and disgusting is that there were Swedish guys outside drinking and nobody said a word to them. LOL. I genuinely will never go back there again. It was honestly a really scary place, with staff who should probably be worrying about their own drug problems instead of insulting a girl who was new to the country and, after apologizing, politely did everything she was asked to do. I’m sorry, but if you want to be a “bar” that is “more alternative” and “different” ACT LIKE IT AND BE KIND.
