Great food and experience!
RapporteraTerrible experience. Food was stale.
RapporteraExcellent restaurant de street-food indienne. Les plats sont revisités avec des recettes authentiques et modernes.
RapporteraThe portions were very small for the price. We ordered Honey Cauliflower for kr 135, but the portion was really small. The Dal Makhani and salad were also served in very small quantities. The portions definitely need to be improved.
RapporteraThis is honestly a disappointing review to write because Indian Street Food used to be one of my favourite Indian street-food restaurants in Stockholm. I used to recommend it to almost everyone, both my Indian friends and Swedish friends. Unfortunately, after this visit, I feel like I would now have to warn people about the recent changes instead. The samosa chaat is a perfect example. It used to be served beautifully on a long plate, with a generous amount of pomegranate seeds and several different sauces that made every bite interesting and flavourful. Now, it has essentially been reduced to one deconstructed samosa with much less going on. The samosa itself was also so heavily deep-fried that it had turned slightly black instead of the golden-brown colour you would expect. The dahi puris have also apparently been replaced by plain pani puris, while the price remains the same. When the price stays the same but the product and quality are reduced, it is difficult not to feel that the value has gone down considerably. And then there is the service. Everything felt painfully slow. Even the delivery of a single rasmalai took ages. For a restaurant specialising in street food, where quick and lively service is part of the experience, this was particularly frustrating. What bothers me most is that this isn’t the restaurant I remember. The prices seem to be there, but the portions, presentation, quality and overall experience have noticeably declined. This used to be one of the best places for Indian street food that I would happily recommend to both Indians and Swedes. Sadly, after seeing these changes, I don’t think I will be visiting this brand again. I’ll probably start looking for other options for North Indian food and proper street-style chaat in Stockholm. It’s a shame, because this was a place I genuinely used to love and recommend. I really hope the management takes the feedback seriously and brings back what made the restaurant special in the first place
