The IKEA hotel is conveniently placed near to the IKEA Museum which is a short walk away. Currently, as of Sept 2026 there is construction work, which has at this point in time demolished one block of the hotel. When we visited we were located on the other side of the building, which has an outlook over the local cemetary. As much as there is construction going on this didn't affect out stay. The common areas have a number of free amenities which was useful to us as our checkout time was a couple of hours before our planned train back to Malmo.

Overall: We had a family room (2 bunk beds). The hotel offers free washing/drying/ironing, as well as usage of the kitchen, gym and sauna. We stayed for 1 night only and didn’t get to use most of the facilities. Food: Breakfast is included and has a nice variety of warm and cold items. We also had dinner there and the menu was very affordable. The service was excellent, Room: the room was clean and simple. The beds were comfortable enough. There were no sockets by the beds, just usb outlets. Overall the hotel is dated but there is a lot of construction next to it, so this should be fixed by 2028.
