Check the box ski resort. The hotel was fine. The breakfast buffet was good and the sauna was great.

Great location, great skiresort! Unfortunately this hotel has such no competition in the area that they don’t even care about their service. Most of the female employees have no knowledge at all and are here to smile and be cute. Their parking spot is absolutely crap and be ready to get fine at anytime because it’s confusing and unclear. The restaurant is absolutely lowcost but everything costs something and something too expensive. On top of these points, if you mention something negative to the staff, they will reply with arrogance…

It was a bucket list trap to go to Riksgransen. Over the years expectations for ski resort amenities had definitely lowered. The staff at the hotel exceeded my expectations tenfold. It’s isolated and we took the train to get there so there are worries about getting sick of what is there (not the mountain) everyday we saw the same people and every day smiles and great food. Swedish hospitality is my new bar to measure by.
