A beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings. Many well thought details in decorations all over the hotel. We loved staying there and will defenately come again! Breakfast was fresh, bed really comfortable and the room tidy, and the staff/owners were really helpfull and friendly.

Charming and historic hotel with good location. Very communicative owner and instructions for entering after hours was clear. Spacious, quiet and nicely appointed with comfortable beds at a reasonable price. Excellent breakfast with lots of fresh fruit. Thick bathrobes. Tobias and staff were very personable, informative and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Så mysigt fint underbart trevligt hotell, allt är verkligen bra och så trevlig personal med bra service kommer man inte till detta hotell så har man nog missat något tack för allt, vi har haft det kanon här på hotellet och på mysiga underbara Gotland.

It was an amazing stay for our time in Visby. The hosts (these are Ulrika and Tobias) were very kind and helpfull. We had a late arrival from the ferry to Gotland and we were able to have a check-in at night. Due to us being late in the season we even received a very welcome upgrade to a larger room. The building where the hotel is situated in is from 1250. This shows in the most positive way possible. The interior design of the hotel and rooms is rustique and warm. The bed is a Swedish brand that sleeps insanely well. The breakfast is a buffet with self made marmelades from berries from Gotland (and other marmelades) and self made sourdough bread (there is also a host of standard options, like croissants, regular plain bread, cheese and eggs). We visited Visby for a few days and took their suggestions for dinner options to heart and it wasn't a mistake at all (this was Bakfickan). After our visit we hiked the Östkustleden, the longest trail on the east coast of Gotland (also highly recommended if you're into hiking) and could leave our possessions stored at their hotel for a pickup a few days later. All in all, I would highly recommend Hotel Helgeand Wisby for your next visit in Visby as you will not be disappointed by the hosts Tobias and Ulrika and the hotel itself (we even came back later in the week).

Lovely inn with comfortable rooms and beds, and a great continental breakfast with many homemade breads, granola, jams, meats and cheeses. Owners Rika and Tobias are friendly and helpful hosts!

We had such a wonderful stay here. The room was very well set-up, with our own bathtub, which we loved. The surroundings and the garden are beautiful, also the breakfast was great, with home made bread and marmelade. Everyone was very welcoming, also towards our small daughter.

Sentral beliggenhet, supergod frokost (mye hjemmelaget), flotte omgivelser og veldig hyggelig betjening. Da barnet vårt ble sykt i løpet av oppholdet ble vi møtt med stor medfølelse og hjelpsomhet. Stor takk for oppholdet!

It was a bit too noisy for us. I woke up each night thinking the Russians had invaded - it was very noisy - but then again we had a room right on the road. Also breakfast was very average bordering on disappointing
