Today I came in for a prenatal massage, but unfortunately nothing went as I had expected. I waited outside the entrance for 10 minutes because the door would not open. No matter how many times I rang the bell or called, nobody answered. Eventually, I came inside on my own, without seeing anyone who could explain or apologize for the delay and the issue with the entrance. About five minutes later, a staff member came and called me in for the massage. The massage room felt more like a gynecology examination room than a place designed for relaxation. There was not the slightest sense of comfort or tranquility that one would normally expect from a massage experience. I was asked to lie on a treatment table covered with a very thin disposable sheet that kept slipping off every time I moved. Aside from the hygiene concerns, it simply did not feel like a professional massage setting. The massage oil used was rapeseed oil (cooking oil). I understand that scented oils may not be appropriate during pregnancy, but there are many natural, unscented oils available on the market that would be far more suitable. Overall, your clinic charges a high price for a very short prenatal massage session while providing a very low standard of service. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place to anyone, as my experience was extremely disappointing.

Hi Maryam, thank you for taking the time in giving us feedback. It is something we truly appreciate. We are sorry to hear that your experience today did not meet your expectations. It is our ambition to meet every clients needs when they visit us. As you may have already read on our homepage, we are a clinic primarily focused on assessment and management of different musculoskeletal dysfunctions including the pelvic floor that is our main focus. This may mean that the enviroment in the room differs from that of a conventional massage practice. However, we appreciate your insight and will see how we can eventually make any changes. We only use rapeseed oil as it is completely odorless and tolerated by most people as it does not contain any nut extracts. Rapeseed oil is a completely natural and unscented oil and is also used as a base or so called carrier oil in traditional massage oils as it can be mixed with essential oils such as lavendel or pepparmint. The paper used on the table is primarily used in consideration to hygien as t is used once and then the massage table can be appropriately disinfected afterwards. Again, we are sorry that your visit and experience did not fall within your expectations. Wishing you all the best.
