On my first visit, I bought Danish rugbrød, and it was fresh and so good that I kept thinking about this place and wanting to come back for more of that gorgeous bread. Today we went there again. I bought two Danish loaves, and right away I had a feeling they weren't fresh. We ate some sweets, and I decided to return at least one of them. I explained that the bread didn't seem fresh, but I was told that it had been made today! I came home and cut into the loaf I had kept. It's clearly at least two days old and practically inedible. I tasted it, and it's just stale. I had to throw it away. This is expensive bread — it costs 75 SEK. It should not be acceptable to sell bread this old at full price and call it fresh. Being told that it was made today when it clearly wasn't felt like being lied to my face. What was even more disappointing was that the second loaf I returned was put straight back on display, meaning someone else may end up buying the same stale bread. Very disappointing experience.
