Big GYM. Have sauna as well. P.S. music could be louder. 😉

For my first visit to Kiruna, I didn't know what to expect as far as a gym goes. I was very pleasantly surprised. This gym is huge with all the equipment you could need, including if you are a competitive weightlifter or powerlifter. It's extremely clean, and I witnessed the staff mopping the floors multiple times during my visits. The day passes are also rather inexpensive.

I visited this gym twice during my stay in Kiruna (around 4 PM and 6 PM) to pay for a day pass or trial session. Both times, there was absolutely no staff present. All signs and information are only in Swedish, with no English guidance at all. There was no way to enter, no reception, no doorbell, no contact person – nothing. For tourists or anyone just visiting Kiruna, this gym is not recommended at all. Very disappointing. Honestly, this is also a great way for the gym to miss out on potential revenue – I was ready to pay, but they made it impossible.

I have been to different Gyms all over the world, this is on my 10 Top list. Gymmet is huge, more than 2000 squaremeters, hundreds of machines, some of them I never seen before, all looks new, more or less - FANTASTIC! Very well organized, very clean and fresh, everywhere. This is a paradise for any sport supporter, waste equipment, nice people come and goes. The two sweet blondes in the reception, I was there 6 aug, 12:00, were very professional and helpful. Very welcoming smile and good information, very fit for the job - congratulation Gymmet for so well trained staff. If a gym should be named world class this is it ”GYMMET, WORLD CLASS SHIT;)” I’ll be back!
