Jättefint ställe, men rekommenderas inte om du har specialkost. Vi föranmälda flera dagar i förväg 10 pers varav 4 veganer. Väl där kunde de först inte redogöra för vad veganerna skulle få och det visade sig att de inte förberett något alls. Veganerna fick "linsbiffar med potatis och primörer" fast utan linsbiffar och potatis (mjölk) 🙈 alltså ett blomkålshuvud med några kantareller bredvid. Barnen hade lovats vegobullar via telefon, men det hade de inte heller. Vegetarianer serverades snitzel istället för linsbiffar, och det blev inget ordentligt förlåt utan servitörerna skyllde på varandra. + iaf för att de hade vegansk brownie (färdigköpt) till kaffet som ingick 👍

Vi är glada att ni uppskattade vår miljö, men samtidigt väldigt ledsna över att vi inte lyckades leverera en bra måltidsupplevelse för hela ert sällskap. När specialkost är föranmäld ska vi självklart vara förberedda och kunna erbjuda genomtänkta och fullvärdiga alternativ. Här har vi brustit, både i förberedelserna och i kommunikationen på plats, och det beklagar vi verkligen. Att ni dessutom upplevde att ansvaret bollades vidare i stället för att situationen hanterades på ett bra sätt är inte det bemötande vi vill stå för. Vi tar med oss er återkoppling i vårt fortsatta arbete och ser över det inträffade tillsammans med berörda delar av verksamheten. Tack för att ni uppmärksammade oss på detta, och vi hoppas att vi får möjlighet att ge er en betydligt bättre upplevelse vid ett framtida besök. This was our seventh visit; we have always been pleased with our stays—especially the dining. But this time—a huge disappointment. The place still has atmosphere, and one easily forgives the slightly worn rooms and the traces of fungus and mold in the shower corners. However, the food and wine have always been excellent. It had been two years since our last visit, and unfortunately, things had changed; as always, we opted for the tasting menu. Some dishes were good, but most were merely average. Most striking, however, was the minimalist style they’ve adopted: the two main courses—fish and meat—were almost ridiculously small. The wine pairing was equally absurd; the wine barely covered the bottom of the glass. My spouse ordered three glasses of wine with the meal; the waiter first forgot to serve them entirely, then served her just a few drops at the bottom of the glass—yet the bill listed three standard glasses at an exorbitant price. It felt almost like highway robbery. Unfortunately, the waiter serving us showed no regard for hygiene—quite the opposite... When we discretely pointed this out, he adopted an arrogant and rude tone. This will be our last visit; it’s a shame, as the place has given us many fond memories—it is located literally in the middle of nowhere. Now, it is no longer worth the drive...

If your are around, you have to try this restaurant. I ate the best köttbullar here! Lovely hotel/restaurant and the staff was very friendly. For fika, they invited us to the salon, with an amazing backyard.
