First you have to find it 😁. The signs are not really obvious. We could use our servicecard to get in because we were traveling the Götakanaal but otherwise you should get a ticket at the restaurant. It is informative but not impressive to be honest. We hoped for a bit more. It was a lot about who worked on the project end history. There is also small set up where you can see how they made the canal bit by bit. Also a video about how they changed a lock door. We were there for about 45 min. and we were alone. I don't how it works out when you are there with several people in the small room with 3 different kind of things that use sound (2 x video, 1 x 'interactive' animation).

Note that the current location(by the vandrarhem/hostel) is incorrect(I submitted an edit, accepted but not applied). If one faces the canal, on your left would be the hostel's washroom/service house while on the right would be a similar house where the exhibition is kept. One needs to go to the Mallboden's reception, pay SEK 50, and take a service card. Use it to enter the exhibition house. It is value for money! They have made an excellent attempt to provide an overview of Göta canal's history. Two short films, and the characterization of the prominent figures is helpful for enthusiasts to understand history briefly.
