Dear Emma, I’m sorry to hear that you are disappointed with our response and the generous discount code we offered you! We are very proud to have a high quality and more then often being praised by our customers about the sock’s quality. Though function and strength of the socks comes with a balance, and it is hard to get the strongest socks at the same as offering the highest functionality and performance. Swimrun is a sport that put an extreme wear and tear on socks with the water increasing the friction and transitions up and down in the water with sand and gravel. How long they will last is hard for us to say, it depends how much they have been used, how they have been used, what environment and how each person’s running style or feet looks. In the end socks are garments that will tear if they are used. To offer a generous discount of 30% for a sock that has no malfunction from the production and that has been used for a season I believe is more than many other brands would do. It would be tough for us as a small company to offer everyone that has a normal wear and tear a new pair of socks after every season. Kind regards Annie, founder of Gococo
