We booked a tour at the end of September and it was great. Very friendly staff, who gave good advice concerning kayaking and which route to take. The location is ideal, you can visit beautiful islands no matter which way the wind blows. And the equipment you'll receive is of very good quality.

We had an really amazing time on our 4 days journey. The stuff was super nice, and everything is very well organized. The Kajaks are new and very good quality. Alle the camping equipment is also on good shape. All in all we where really happy with our decision.

Took a tandem kayak out for 3 days and 2 nights over the August bank holiday. Great introduction from the team, brilliant advice in terms of staying safe on the water, lovely suggested route, excellent kit. With Stockholm as our city of arrival and departure, it was super easy to get a quick bus to and from Stavsnäs. Only downside was (personal fault) that I did not pack a fishing line!

We had a fantastic experience with Get Out Kayak. Everything was prepared and explained perfectly, and they were even very accommodating when one of us had to arrive one day later. I can highly recommend this place even if you have no prior kayaking or camping experience.

This looks great. But unfortunately, they refuse afternoon start. We came at 11.30 and asked for a departure in the afternoon, but we have been asked to come Back the next morning. No worries : We found another kayak rental, much more flexible

Hi Ludovic, Thank you for taking the time to write. I wish we could have offered you a kayak tour that day. Turning someone away is never something we enjoy, even if they do not have a booking when they show up. Almost all of our guests book well in advance, but we always try to fit in the occasional walk-in too. Most of the time we manage to fit everyone in, but in high season we have to prioritize those with reservations. You are right that we are not fully flexible, and that is by design. We are not a kayak rental, at least not in the typical sense. We only offer multi-day tours, and a departure with us is not simply handing over a kayak. Even the kayak package includes the full on-water kit, a proper introduction, a safety and navigation briefing, and a route planning session (and most guests opt for the tour package, which adds full camping gear on top of that). We like to spend real time prepping and getting to know each guest before they head out. That means a couple of hours before anyone leaves the dock. And we do run afternoon starts, but in high season they need to be booked ahead – those hours have to be planned for. When we asked you to come back the next morning, it was because we wanted to give prep properly so we could offer you the actual experience rather than a rushed version of it. I understand that did not fit your plans, and I am glad you found something that did. If you are ever back and want to experience the outer archipelago, afternoon start included, book a little ahead and we would love to get you out there. Warm regards, Adam
Tolles Kajak-Erlebnis! Wir hatten 8 wunderbare Tage auf dem Wasser zwischen den vielen Schäreninseln. Vielen Dank Get Out Kayak! Das Team vor Ort ist gut gelaunt, hilfsbereit und hat Tipps für Ausrüstung und Tourplanung. Wenn man das Tourpackage bucht, braucht man wirklich nur Verpflegung und Bekleidung mitbringen. Wir kommen wieder und bringen Verstärkung mit :-)

Wir waren 3 Nächte mit den Kayaks unterwegs und haben sehr schöne Zeltplätze auf einsamen Inseln gefunden. Die letzten beiden Tagen waren mit Windstärken von bis 8m/s sehr though für uns, aber es ging alles gut und get out Kayak wäre jederzeit erreichbar gewesen. Danke für das tolle Equipment und die netten Mitarbeitenden!
