Magnificent views of the surrounding area! We visited in the summer and really enjoyed hiking to the top, visiting the Sami cultural center, and taking the gondola ride down the mountain.

Yes the resort is small but it’s really charming and good! Great for an intermediate skier and staying a few days with quite reasonable prices too. The view is quite nice from up the mountain and the slopes were, overall, well taken care of. Bigger resorts are around if needed and accessible by bas from the city center.

In winter this mountain delivers a top-tier alpine experience. ​Highlights ​World-Class Ski School: The absolute standout was the ski school. A massive shout-out and gold stars to Oskar! His patience, energy, and ability to connect with the kids made a world of difference. All the children gained so much confidence on the snow, and as parents, it was a joy to see them so excited for every lesson. ​Stunning Scenery: The mountain itself is breathtaking. The views from the top across the Funäsfjällen area are some of the most beautiful in Sweden. It’s the kind of landscape that makes you want to stop mid-run just to take it all in. ​Terrain Variety: The slopes were well-groomed and offered a great mix of challenges for different skill levels, while the lift system kept things moving efficiently even during busier periods. ​Overall Impression: Funäsdalen Berget manages to feel both professional and incredibly welcoming. Between the stunning natural beauty and the exceptional staff like Oskar, it’s a destination we can’t recommend highly enough for families.
