We spent a wonderful week in August 2026 with Dyk-Leif Sweden in Hamburgsund and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff is incredibly professional, helpful, and welcoming. The accommodation was comfortable, and the food provided on-site was absolutely delicious.
Diving around the Väderöarna islands was breathtaking. We dived from a highly professional, well-equipped dive boat, which made the whole experience comfortable and safe. The surrounding area of Hamburgsund is also beautiful and charming. I highly recommend Dyk-Leif to anyone looking for a top-tier diving holiday in Sweden!
En ce qui concerne les plongées, super organisation, personnel très sympa et sites de plongée très bien.
Pour l’hôtellerie, c’est une pension très agréable: chambres correctes et bons repas; petite remarque: trop souvent du riz au menu mais rien à redire pour le reste.
Nous avons séjourné à Dyk-Leif en tant que non-plongeuses avec un groupe de plongeurs. Je ne peux donc pas donner mon avis sur la plongée, mais côté logement et accueil, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.
Le logement est propre, agréable et confortable, avec le strict minimum de mobilier. Nous avions une chambre dans une maison partagée avec d’autres locataires, un peu comme une colocation, mais sans avoir besoin de faire à manger ! Les repas sont pris tous ensemble dans la maison principale. Quand c’est complet, cela peut être assez animé et parfois un peu bruyant.
Les repas sont délicieux et Viktoria se donne vraiment beaucoup de peine pour faire plaisir à ses hôtes. Les desserts sont à tomber, sans parler de la glace maison… un vrai régal !
Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié les conseils pour découvrir les environs. Grâce à leurs idées, nous avons pu faire de belles visites pendant que les autres plongeaient.
Toute la famille s’investit pour rendre le séjour agréable. Le lieu est très calme, entouré de nature, parfait pour se déconnecter. Une belle découverte, même pour les non-plongeuses !

During the dive you feel safe and the Boat will immediately pick you up after surfacing.

Vi var ett sällskap på sju dykare som åkte med Anders ut till Väderöarna måndagen den 20:e juli. Vilket fantastiskt upplägg, kan verkligen rekommnendera det. Allt var förbrett när vi kom till dykcentret på morgonen och vi fick bra hjälp och tydliga instruktioner.
Bra utrustning, perfekt båt, god mat, fika och godis. Bra genomgång av dykställen innan vi hoppade i vattnet och det var första gången för oss alla att åka hiss upp ur vattnet, underbart!

We booked the Sommardykläger 2026 and paid the full price mentioned in the website. When we arrived, only rooms with double beds were available. We were told to choose any available room. However, at checkout we were each charged an additional SEK 800 because we had not stayed in a shared multi-bed room. Since no such rooms were available on arrival and we followed the instructions given, this additional charge came as an unpleasant surprise.
The crew were overall friendly and helpful, and communication was easy since they could speak both English and Swedish. The daily schedule was also very well organized, with a clear structure for breakfast, diving, lunch, returning to the harbor, and dinner. I especially enjoyed the desserts, the lunch locations, and the fact that there was always coffee and cake available after diving. Another feature I really appreciated was that every boat had a toilet on board, and the lift made getting out of the water convenient.
During the stay, however, I heard several jokes that I found inappropriate, including jokes about women and frequent continuous comments toward vegetarians. Hearing them repeatedly made the atmosphere less welcoming.
I dive with double cylinders, and I received several comments suggesting that using doubles was old-fashioned or unnecessary. Everyone has their own equipment preferences, and I would have appreciated a more respectful attitude toward different ways of diving.
Regarding the diving operations, only the boat Triton was well suited for divers using double cylinders. On the other boats, the seating was too short for me, even though I am only 168 cm tall. In addition, every day divers have to carry their equipment to a cart, load it onto the boat, and repeat the process after diving, which was inconvenient. There is no bench for doubles.
I also found the dive briefings to be quite general. I prefer briefings that include the planned depth, navigation, interesting features to look for, and what marine life might be seen. Only one crew member could provide this level of detail, and whether you received it depended on which boat you were assigned to.
Finally, while the food was good, the menu was very repetitive throughout the stay. More variety over the course of the week would have been appreciated.
Overall, the trip was well organized, the crew worked hard, and the underwater marine life was beautiful and offered some memorable dives. However, considering the unexpected accommodation charge, the atmosphere created by some of the comments and jokes, and the practical issues with diving using double cylinders, I would not choose to do this trip again if I had the chance to go back in time.
