My close friend and I were fortunate enough to book the 8 day wilderness expedition led by Lars and his seasonal assistant Brianna. The tour was all-encompassing; from learning how to care for the dogs and fit the sleds to cooking in the evenings and chopping wood for the stoves, we truly experienced it all. Room and board were fully provided. We never went hungry and got to try out a boatload of Swedish treats. Our tour was close to the end of the season (~April) which risked more slush and water on the trail, but fortunately the weather was perfect, the air was crisp, and the dogs were quite happy. Lars, Malin, and Brianna have nothing but the best level of care for their dogs. They are truly part of their family. I highly recommend the expeditions if you can spare the time. We had an absolutely amazing experience with Cold Nose Huskies! We did the 5 km husky tour and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Lapland. The guide was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome right from the beginning. You could immediately tell how much they care about the dogs – they were well treated, happy, and full of energy. Driving the sled through the beautiful snowy landscape was an unforgettable experience. What made it even more special was the time afterwards. We had the chance to talk with Lars, one of the owners, who was extremely kind and took a lot of time to answer all our questions. He shared so many interesting facts about huskies, their training, and their personalities. He also took fantastic photos for us, which we really appreciate. Overall, everything was perfectly organized and felt very personal and authentic. You can truly feel their passion for the dogs and what they do. We would 100% recommend Cold Nose Huskies to anyone visiting Rovaniemi. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

Unsere Wildnistour im Vindelfjällen war ein einzigartiges Erlebnis. Es kann so einfach sein - raus aus Allem - und unterwegs mit dem Nötigsten. Kein Motorengeräusch, einsame Natur, Schnee und Eis unter und der weite Himmel Lapplands über einem. In kleiner Gruppe waren wir fünf Tage unterwegs durch abwechslungsreiches Terrain - zugefrorene Seen, karge Wälder oder weite Hochebenen. Von Anfang an war man Teil eines Team, ob nun auf dem Schlitten mit seinem Gespann oder in den Hütten beim Holz hacken, Wasser holen, Essen zubereiten oder Hunde versorgen. Auf der optimal und professionell organisierten Tour fühlten wir uns stets aufmerksam betreut. Geduldig wurden alle unsere Fragen beantwortet. Neben den informativen Einblicken in die Arbeit mit den Huskies gab es auch Gelegenheiten für entspannte persönliche Gespräche. Respekt für mein Gespann Wolfi, Gollin, Tabs, Castillo, Crocket und natürlich Ipa, die nach der 60km-Tagesetappe eigentlich erst richtig loslegen wollten. Und einen herzlichen Dank an Malin und Lars für die Einblicke in Euren bemerkenswerten Alltag und die unvergesslichen Momente. Dank und Grüße auch an Top-Helfer Jonah.

Awesome Husky Tour! Malin & her team are super friendly & took a lot of time to answer all of our questions. They take very good care of the huskies and the tour was so amazing. The little Fika was yummie too. Thank you for everything :-)

Gute, schnelle, unkomplizierte und freundliche Kommunikation. Vor Ort kann Englisch oder Deutsch gesprochen werden, um sich um alle Fragen rund um die Hunde und das Leben in der Natur/Schweden auszutauschen. Die Hunde sind sehr freundlich und zeigen deren Vorfreude schon durchs laute bellen, da die wissen das es bald los geht und gelaufen werden kann. Die Tagestour ist sehr zu empfehlen, da man deutlich mehr Zeit hat sich mit den Hunden und der Natur zu beschäftigen. Gerne kommen wir bei Gelegenheit wieder um erneut eine Ausfahrt zu machen.
