Very Disappointing Experience with Charme Stad – Poor Service and Unnecessary Stress I had a very disappointing experience with Charme Stad for the move-out cleaning of my 69-square-meter apartment. Incomplete cleaning: Although the cleaner tried her best, the workload was clearly too much for one person. Many areas were overlooked. I pointed out several issues and even helped with the cleaning myself, yet much of the work remained unfinished. 3. Unprofessional response: The next day, I contacted the company with photos of the missed areas. Instead of addressing my concerns, the representative claimed my apartment was extremely dirty and that the cleaner had been crying because of its condition. I was present throughout the cleaning, and these accusations were shocking. The cleaner never mentioned any such difficulties. When I requested photographic proof, none was provided. This was a MOVE-OUT CLEANING service! Why would a professional company expect an already perfectly clean apartment? 4. Arguments over extra charges: Rather than taking responsibility, the representative repeatedly suggested additional charges. Eventually, two cleaners arrived that evening and spent just 15–20 minutes cleaning several missed areas. The representative also claimed window cleaning wasn’t included, but fortunately, I had written SMS confirmation proving otherwise. 5. Failed inspection: The following day, the apartment inspector identified another 7–8 neglected areas, including the refrigerator’s top and bottom and the washing machine/dryer filter. After I shared the inspection remarks, the company again mentioned extra charges due to excessive work. Eventually, two cleaners returned to finish the job. Final Thoughts: Although I received an invoice for the originally agreed amount, the experience caused unnecessary stress, arguments, and wasted time. In my opinion, the company tried to save costs by sending only one cleaner for a demanding job. Instead of acknowledging incomplete work, they blamed me and repeatedly raised the possibility of extra charges. As a paying customer, I expected professional service without having to supervise, help clean, repeatedly provide evidence, or argue over agreed services. The cleaning was eventually completed, but only after multiple complaints and return visits. I cannot recommend Charme Stad. Move-out cleaning should reduce stress, not create more of it.
