I had a very good experience learning Swedish via CELT. Nice and professional people who help you learning what you really need and on your desired pace. My teacher often recommended me interesting and useful subjects to read, and discuss as speaking practice.

RapporteraI have only fantastic experience with this school, especially with Mariana as the teacher , highly recommend
RapporteraI really enjoyed my Swedish course with CELT. I learned a lot and noticed a clear improvement in my Swedish skills over the duration of the course. The teacher was extremely attentive, kind, and supportive, and always adapted the lessons to my needs. The overall experience was very professional and motivating. I would definitely recommend CELT to anyone looking to learn Swedish.
RapporteraI had a great experience taking 1 on 1 professional Swedish lessons with CELT. A much better way when compared to larger classes such as SFI and I got a chance to practice the types of things I struggled with, be that writing in a work context or presenting extended pieces of information. I would recommend this for anyone either starring Swedish from scratch or someone who already speaks some Swedish but needs to work on particular skills. It was also a flexible and friendly approach to learning and understanding of when worklife got in the way! Have recommended to other colleagues new in Sweden too. Thanks!
RapporteraI am extremely satisfied with the service offered by CELT. The teachers are very competent, and their innovative teaching methods make learning both fun and effective for the students. Every day I feel more motivated to continue my studies because I see clear progress. I highly recommend CELT to anyone looking for quality education.
RapporteraI am very pleased with the course provided by CELT, the balance between gramar and conversation is perfect and the teacher is always asking which part do you want to prioritize in the class. If in the next weeks you need to deliver a paper for example, they will focus on the writing, if you need to make a presentation they support you in your speech so the course become tailor made for the student needs. I really enjoy the pedagogic skills of my teacher, she is a very experienced teacher that know how to identify your gaps and make the class really productive. Also we are always requested by CELT owner Mr. Donal to give feedback on the course so any issue can be fixed. I strongly recommend.
RapporteraReally good school Went from nothing to B2 in Swedish Great teachers, very professional and well organised
RapporteraFirst, I want to say that I find the school overall well-intentioned and friendly. However, my experience in this specific course was mixed, and I feel it’s important to raise a few concerns—especially considering that this was a significant investment from my company with the clear goal of improving my Swedish proficiency. One of the main issues was the structure of the lessons. In a language course, especially at this level, I believe the student should be speaking the majority of the time. In practice, the speaking ratio felt closer to 50/50 between teacher and student, and often the teacher moved away from the lesson topic, homework, or planned material to share personal stories. While interesting, this reduced the time available for focused language practice. Another concern is that Swedish should have been used consistently throughout the lessons. Since the purpose of the course is to improve Swedish—not English—I expected stronger immersion and more insistence on staying in Swedish during class. I also felt that the level of professionalism did not always match that of an intensive, high-cost language program. Punctuality and lesson structure sometimes felt more informal, like a casual conversation in a café rather than a structured learning environment. From discussions with colleagues, I understand that this may be a common experience across more than one teacher, particularly regarding teachers speaking too much and not giving students enough active practice time. After 30 hours of instruction, I do not feel that my Swedish improved as much as I had hoped. I believe a more student-centered approach—with approximately 80% student speaking time and 20% teacher speaking time, and a stronger focus on structured speaking and writing exercises in Swedish—would lead to significantly better results. I hope this feedback can be taken constructively and used to improve the learning experience for future participants, as well as for any continued training.
