I was working in Sweden for two months and looked for a place to continue my training during that time. I was very lucky to be close to Västerås and found the Dai Shihan Peter by chance. Our email contact was already very helpful and friendly and I was looking forward to train in the Dojo. My expectations couldnt match the (much better) reality. The group was small, but very kind and inviting, so I felt quickly like a full member during my time. There is no second like Peter under the sky. He is really living up to the title Dai Shihan and is not just an instructor for fighting techniques, he is a real mentor. His calm and friendly character lays the ground for a good training atmosphere and he absolutely loves to train and teach. Always with a smile. He is not sitting on a bench and gives instructions, he is part of it. I trained in many schools during my live and never experienced someone who was able to absolutely pull punches and kicks with precise power needed, like Peter. His Taijutsu is almost graceful and you can already learn so much from his movements. Besides that he carries a deep knowledge and understanding for the Japanese style of training, culture and tradition and is happy to share it. On top of that he really cared about me and my time in Sweden and my improvement. We talked a lot about my health, mind and body and he is still very invested in my life and wants to help. Thats what I meant with mentor. His training and guidance doesnt stop at the Dojo door. I am very grateful for my time and can't put it in words. Peter is by far the best trainer I experienced in Europe (so far) and his Dojo is full with kindness and amazing people. Highly recommend it! Tack så mycket!
