According to the United Nations, this company has violated human rights in Arica (Chile). There they dumped toxic waste, which after a few years caused many illnesses and deaths to people, they did not take responsibility for their actions, arguing in the case against them that there was a prescription in the lawsuit made by those affected. Swedish law covered their actions, but the people reject their moral standards that privilege profit over human life, when these people are not people of their own country. This doesn't just speak ill of Boliden, it also gives a bad impression of Swedish society and its judicial system.
