We met up with friends at the campsite and decided to eat here to avoid cooking and doing the dishes that evening. The service was polite and friendly—though they acted as if they held a Michelin star—but some cold beers and wine were served quickly. All four of us ordered schnitzel, each with our choice of sauce. It took quite a while for the food to arrive, and I have to say the meal itself was rather disapointing. The schnitzel was quite thin, deep-fried, and tasteless, and they forgotten the sauces we had ordered and sadly the rest of the meal was nothing to write home about either. In conclusion... It was a wonderful reunion with friends we hadn't seen in a while, and since they were treating us, it didn't feel right to complain about the food. But considering the price they had to pay, you would certainly expect the schnitzel, and for that matter, the rest of the meal, to be a bit more substantial and a bit more tastefull.....and so it was an expensive way to avoid cooking and washing up...... but next time we’ll just prepare something in our mobilehome.
