还以为是家简餐馆，但菜品和价格却着实不菲，也许在瑞典不算贵吧。新鲜度没的说，搭配果仁和芥末的金枪鱼很开胃。传统的瑞典丸子吃起来与Ikea区别不大，当然食材和料理是另一个层面。也许是自家做的，竟然吃出了一小粒脆骨，算是惊喜吧。到最后没忍住，还是要了法式焦糖布丁，做法很正宗，甜而不腻，焦糖壳苦后回甘。 除了丸子，整体感觉不错。

Spontan einen Tisch am Abend erhalten. Herzliche Begrüssung und sehr freundlicher Service. Viele einheimische Gäste, genau was ich mir gewünscht habe. Die Vorspeise "Pfifferlingstoast" war exklusiv, sehr schön angerichtet und sehr lecker, hätte mir etwas mehr Pilze gewünscht. (leider kein Foto) Hauptgang: "hausgemachte Köttbullar" waren fantastisch, vorallem mit dem Kartoffelstock und der Sauce. Kann das Restaurant jedem empfehlen.

This bistro had a distinctly fine-dining feel, with prices in the mid-to-high range. It was cozy inside and out. With the inside fully booked, we sat in the covered, heated outdoor area. The temperature was comfortable, though we still needed coats. The online reputation is what drew us here. Bistro Bestick was listed as #2 in Stockholm on Tripadvisor, and we had been told over and over again that when you come to Sweden, you must have herring and meatballs. We started with the herring. Among the dill, grated cheese, sour cream, potatoes, crunchy rye bread crumbs, and hard-boiled egg, I found three bite-sized pieces of herring. Eaten by itself, meh. Together with the other components, better. Overall, I would say it was not very flavorful. The meatballs were a little dry, but combined with the gravy and mash, that was the better bite. There were only six meatballs, and given their small size, I expected more. The lamb fillet with asparagus, vinegar jelly, chanterelles, Jerusalem artichoke, and herb butter was outstanding. My wife loves lamb, and this did not disappoint her. The sunchoke preparation was new to us and unexpectedly delicious. It almost kept my wife from ordering the dish, but ended up being her second favorite component. Finally, the staff was outstanding—funny, personable, and easy to relate to. The lamb and the service made this a great option in downtown Stockholm, even though the herring and meatballs left us wanting a little more. Overall, we were glad we decided to tempt fate with an early walk-in just after 6:00 pm, even though the first available reservation was not until 8:00 pm.

We called here quite by chance for an evening meal. We were lucky to get a table. The staff were so helpful. It seems to be run entirely by young women who treated us really well. The menu is limited to a handful of main courses but done very well and appetizingly presented. Wine is expensive as it is everywhere in Dtockholm it seems. Beers cider and spirits are also available. The Swedish coffee is very good.
