If you haven’t visited Gothenburg for a parkrun than you are missing out. Billdalsparken parkrun was awesome with great dedicated group of volunteers and although I was lucky with the weather I must admit I felt like I should try Sweden in the snow sometimes! If you are torn between the 2 in Gothenburg I will choose Billdalsparken as Skatas has 1km to the start! Maps can be deceiving but when you have the local knowledge that’s a plus!

Tyckte det var så trevligt att det inte var några krav på att man skulle springa, jag gick runt och hade det trevligt med att lyssna på fåglarna och omgivningen

We had a great time doing this parkrun. The volunteers were super friendly and the course was lovely. Running on the snow/ice wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. Normal running shoes would be fine. Volunteers cleared ice on some sections. X2 from Göteborg stops directly outside parkrun
