I’ve stayed at this hotel three times now, mainly for business trips, and while there are some positives, there are definitely areas that could be improved. The hotel itself is relatively small and cosy, and the staff have always been friendly, kind and welcoming. Location: The hotel is situated in a quiet, somewhat secluded area, so there’s very little traffic or other disturbing noise, which is a plus. However, the location isn’t particularly convenient if you plan to explore Stockholm or rely on public transport. The nearest metro (Tunnelbana) stations are around a 10–15 minute walk away, which isn’t ideal, especially during colder weather. Rooms: The rooms are actually larger than average, which is nice. The furniture and interior design feel a little outdated, although everything is generally well maintained and not particularly worn out. The bathrooms are decent, with good showers and reliable hot water. Temperature and ventilation: One of my biggest complaints across all three stays has been the room temperature. I’ve consistently found the rooms too cold for my liking, and several of my colleagues have shared the same feedback. I’m not sure whether lower indoor temperatures are common in Swedish hotels, as I’ve noticed a similar trend elsewhere, but it certainly affects comfort. Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be any guest-adjustable heating, air conditioning or ventilation controls, making it difficult to regulate the temperature to your preference. Breakfast: The breakfast selection is rather limited and could definitely benefit from more variety. Wi-Fi: On my previous visits, the Wi-Fi was quite poor, to the point where I had to rely on my mobile hotspot. However, during my most recent stay in October 2026, the connection seemed to have improved and was finally usable, which is a welcome improvement. Value for money: Considering the location, limited breakfast options and lack of room temperature control, I find the hotel slightly on the expensive side for what it offers. Overall, the hotel has some good qualities, particularly the friendly staff, spacious rooms and peaceful surroundings. However, after three stays, I feel there are several areas that need improvement, especially room temperature control and overall value for money. It’s an acceptable option for a short business stay, but not somewhere I would particularly recommend for its facilities or location.
