The bruschetta is really good and the cocktails are amazing. Fair prices as well. I love having this place in the neighbourhood!

amazing food, drinks and location. the prices are very reasonable, and the staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming. it is also one of my favorite places to study or get some work done. the atmosphere is relaxed, the space is comfortable, and it is easy to spend a few productive hours here while enjoying a great coffee or meal. definitely a spot i keep coming back to!

Amazing coffee/bar place for students. They have student discounts for every item and the food is incredibly good. Its location is perfect; located in the same building as Basecamp by Xior Malmö and within walking distance from Malmö University. Honestly don't miss out on stopping by Barrelia! Attentive and amazing staff as well :)

Mysigt ställe med en gedigen kaffe meny, väldigt goda paninis men favoriten är Caesarsalladen coh deras milk shakes 🤩. Möts alltid av glada och trevliga anställda, kan varmt rekommendera!

Don’t let the suspicious 5-star ratings for Barrelia fool you; the reality is far from "perfect." The atmosphere is anything but cozy, defined by harsh, and a glaring lack of music that makes the space feel cold and unwelcoming. The food and drink didn't fare much better—the Caffè Latte was bitter, and the focaccia sandwich was strictly average compared to the quality you’ll find at nearby bageri Baka or Gateau. Most concerning, however, were the hygiene red flags. I observed staff ignoring basic health department guidelines, including a lack of hair coverings and no visible hand-washing. Between the unfriendly service, the sterile "hospital-cafeteria" vibe, and the sanitation lapses, those glowing online reviews feel completely manufactured. Save your money and head to a local spot that actually values quality and cleanliness.
