Wish I could rate 0 Shocking customer service/complaints team. Refusing to register a formal complaint Refusing to engage in discussions and answer questions Refusing to comply to their own warranty agreement and statutory rights For an expensive ‘safe’ seat, beyond disappointed and would not recommend to anyone. I will be pursuing this further.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Expensive, poorly designed piece of plastic that fails at its two most basic jobs: keeping a child comfortable and keeping them safely secured. ❌ A Fatal Design Flaw Axkid claims to prioritize safety, but their harness system is a joke. My three-year-old can easily undo the buckle independently—a terrifying when traveling on the motorway. And something he cannot achieve with any other major car seat brand on the market. A car seat is completely useless if a toddler can escape from it while you are driving down a highway. ❌ Completely Uncomfortable Beyond the blatant safety hazard, the ergonomics are miserable. Prior to my 3 year old undoing the buckle, he complained about the seat being stiff, poorly padded, and clearly designed without testing it on actual, living children. Long drives would be a nightmare because a child would be in visible discomfort the entire time. ❌ Useless Customer Service When confronted with these glaring issues, Axkid "tested" the seat in-house and claimed it was perfectly fine. Dismissing a parent's legitimate safety concerns about a child escaping their harness is insulting and negligent. Denying a clear manufacturing flaw does not make the product usable. 🛑 The Verdict Do not waste your money on this brand. Axkid is manufacturing an unusable, uncomfortable, and fundamentally unsafe product, and their customer service team prefers gaslighting parents over fixing their defects. Save your sanity and your child’s safety—buy from a manufacturer that actually knows how to build a secure buckle.

I had previously been a strong advocate…

I had previously been a strong advocate for Axkid due to offering extended rear facing. However, my Axkid core has recently been subject to a recall. Initially, contact from the company was quick but subsequent correspondence has been nonexistent. I am very disappointed as I require this car seat for my childminding business. Due to the recall I can not use this seat despite being reassured that it meets the "minimum" car seat safety standards. It's not good enough; Therefore, I sadly would no longer recommend this company.

Misslyckad hyra av Axkid babyskydd

Istället för att köpa ett babyskydd tyckte vi det lät smidigt att hyra från Axkid. Så vi hyrde vi en Gokid + Bas på hemsidan och fick direkt orderbekräftelse på mail. Efter 8 dagar och ingen uppdatering mailade jag kundtjänst, som svarade att de inte hade några bilbarnstolar inne för uthyrning för tillfället men att de missat att kommunicera detta och bad om ursäkt. Då jag bedömde att vi fortfarande hade tid innan BF och de kunde leverera veckan efter så gick vi med på att vänta. Ytterligare 8 dagar senare fick vi leveransen (17 dagar efter beställning), men då visar det sig att vi fått 2st baser till babyskydd men inget babyskydd... Förstår att det är ett misstag men blir inte helt tillförlitligt att hyra babyskydd om man inte kan lita på när man får det levererat och att man får rätt produkt. Babyskydden har jag bara hört gott om så det här är en bedömning på deras hyrerbjudande som tyvärr inte fungerat i vårt fall.

Regret buying this Axkid seat

We just bought a minikid 4 pro car seat because of the extended rear facing and it is the worst car seat we’ve ever owned. My son has previously been in Maxi Cosi and the functionality of those seats is so much better. We thought the seat would give my son more leg room - it doesn’t. We’ve tried positioning it so it’s as far back as it can go but it doesn’t stay in place and feels nowhere near as secure as isofix that we’ve been used to. The foam protection around the buckle isn’t attached to anything so constantly comes off. The button for releasing tension of straps is very hard to access for adults as it’s an awkward angle. My son however is able to unfasten and loosen the straps himself, which he has never been able to do in other car seats. He also has never complained of being uncomfortable in the car and now is struggling on journeys over 30 minutes. The seat feels cheap and doesn’t function smoothly. I really wish I’d saved the money and stuck with a brand I know.

Don't use

Don't use. They try and do anything to get out of matching price despite claiming to beat any quote. Very poor customer service. Happily taking my money elsewhere.

J'ai un siège axkid minikid et tout le polystyrène du haut du siège s'est cassé alors que nous faisions attention et que le siège n'a eu aucun choc... Il a 3 ans et la marque ne veut rien savoir... Bizarrement elle vend les "oreilles" en polystyrène dans ses pièces détachées, signe que je ne dois pas être la seule à avoir eu un souci avec ... 25€ hors frais de port ! Je trouve ça lamentable ! Et le module anti collision latérale s'est aussi décollé... Marque NON RECOMMANDABLE

Axkid one 3- Avoid

Axkid one 3. I would not recommend. It’s very expensive, large so take up a lot of room both with and depth (I have a big car!), very fiddly and difficult to get my 19 month old in it. It’s difficult to clean and the quality doesn’t seem to be any better than cheaper seats with similar safety ratings. Avoid.

Axkid Minikid 4 Pro

Axkid Minikid 4 Pro Extremely disappointed with this Axkid seat. Despite the brand's reputation, this is the worst car seat I’ve ever owned. Compatibility issues: The manual is misleading. It claimed compatibility, yet I had to pay for professional car adjustments to install it properly. Instability: The seat feels loose and unstable, which is unacceptable for a high-end safety product. Serious Safety Flaw: The harness ergonomics are poor for parents but dangerously easy for children. My child can escape the straps effortlessly and has direct access to the tension release button. It is a major safety hazard when a child can de-tension their own harness while driving. I honestly question how this model passed the Plus Test/safety standards with such a flawed design.
