I was quoted 1800 SEK for mounting new summer tyres on existing wheels and balancing. When I arrived and the work had already started, they suddenly added 400 SEK extra just to remove the old tyres. That is a basic part of the job and should have been included or clearly explained from the beginning. This kind of pricing is misleading and puts customers in a bad position once the work has already begun. There was no clear communication upfront. On top of that, I was pressured to pay in cash to avoid tax, which is not acceptable. I have reported this to the skatteverket. The place itself also looks more like a makeshift garage than a proper workshop, which does not give much confidence in the service. I would recommend avoiding this place and choosing a more transparent and professional shop instead unless you have no other option.
